SUMMARY
The School Nurse is a professional Registered Nurse who serves as the leader in the school community to oversee the school health policies and programs, enhances the educational process by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning and by advocating and promoting an optimal level of wellness for all students. The nurse establishes and maintains a comprehensive school health program in association with school administration.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Associates Degree in Nursing with management experience
- Current R.N. license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing
- BLS Certification
